The museum is an important hall to carry the development of human civilization. It can connect the past and the present, and make people have a deeper understanding of human culture. At the same time, museums play an irreplaceable role in promoting cultural and industrial integration. Now, more and more countries and governments pay more and more attention to the cultural communication function of museums and have put forward many positive policies conducive to the development of museums. I support these policies and look forward to the better development of museums.

In the activities of the 14th Beijing International Cultural and Creative Industry Expo — China Cultural Industry Development Forum, many government representatives and Museum representatives proposed that for the next museum development path, we need to increase policy support, improve the policy environment, and make the development of museums more creative. At the same time, we should strengthen the personnel training of related majors, let professional people do professional things, and lay a good foundation for the development of the museum. In the process of development, we should strengthen the joint cooperation, promote the innovation of operation mode, promote the deep integration of culture and science and technology industries, and actively use high and new technology to develop cultural and creative industries, so that the integration of culture and science and technology is more in line with the development of the times.

In fact, the Chinese government’s policy on museum development is basically consistent with the international community’s view on museum development, all of them is to make the museum more in line with the social trend and realize sustainable development. IFACCA (2013) states that talking about cultural concerns in the sustainable development agenda is the focus of the United Nations’ sustainable development work after 2015, nowadays, people pay more and more attention to the protection of cultural heritage and cultural vitality, which is an important part of realizing cultural sustainability. With the support and help of relevant policies, museums can show their higher value, let the museum in line with the current rhythm of sustainable development. Kirsten, Jennifer, and Jillian (2017) state that one of the functions of the policy is to make the practice consistent with the social understanding. The development policy of the museum should be revised to reflect the consensus of the society, which will help the museum maintain the value of its unique role in culture. The formulation and introduction of Museum related policies can not only make the museum have the function of sustainable development but also better spread the values in line with the times, which is very conducive to human cultural policy.

Museums present the development of society and the changes of the world in a more specific way. It is not only a place to display cultural relics and hold cultural activities but also plays an important role in restoring cultural relics, protecting cultural relics, and educating human beings. The introduction of various policies can better make museums fulfill their responsibilities, and a good museum can arouse people’s curiosity and understanding of culture, so the policy-making close to the development of the times, with the museum as a cultural facility of special significance, can make the cultural heritage of human better continue.
